A Merry Christmas and Heartfelt Thanks to Our Volunteers and Donors

As we approach the end of another year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact you have made in the lives of mothers and babies through your generosity and support. Thanks to you, 2024 has been a year of transformation and hope. Your unwavering dedication helped bring 38 new babies into the world, providing them with the chance for a life full of love and opportunity.

Your support has been a lifeline for mothers in need. We answered 3,021 calls to our 24/7 help hotline and responded to 1,001 emails from mothers reaching out for guidance, support, and comfort. With your help, we were able to offer shelter, food, and protection to 139 mothers, creating a place of refuge where they not only found safety but also family. These women have walked through unimaginable struggles, but with your support, they are finding healing, strength, and the courage to move forward.

"The birth of a baby has changed the whole world." These words resonate deeply with us, especially as we witness the profound impact of your care. The Christmas story reminds us of the humble birth of a child in a small, insignificant town, a birth that brought hope and joy to the world. At Good Counsel, no mother is ever too poor, and no baby is ever insignificant, because of you. Your prayers, gifts, and time make love and hope come alive in the lives of those who need it most.

As Fr. Benedict Groeschel, co-founder of Good Counsel, often said, “If we could recognize in every face, everyone we see, everyone we pass on the street, an immortal soul, the face of Christ, what a different world this would be.” This Christmas, let us pray to see Christ in each other, and may others see Christ in us.
