The excitement is building at all five Good Counsel homes as we approach the birth of our 1,000th baby since opening our doors in 1985.  We recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl at our Staten Island home, born June 2 at 10:04 AM.  She weighed a very healthy 9 lbs., 1 ounce!  Mom and baby are doing well at home now, bonding, and adjusting to their new life together.

Stay tuned for the announcement of our 1,000th baby – it should be very soon!  Will it be a boy or a girl?

In the meantime, we remain ever grateful for the mothers whom we serve and for your ongoing support that allows us to bring hope to the hopeless, especially in this Year of Mercy.
