At Good Counsel, every birth is a celebration of life, love, and the strength of motherhood. This February, our Bronx Home has been blessed with three beautiful new additions, and we are overjoyed to introduce them to our community!

🎉 On February 9, we welcomed Baby Donoovin, a healthy baby boy.
🎉 On February 15, Baby Jacob arrived, bringing more joy and love to his mother’s life.
🎉 On February 24, Lora gave birth to Baby Lyric’sis at 8:00 PM. She weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and measured 20.5 inches in length. Mom and baby are resting and doing well.

For every mother who walks through our doors, Good Counsel is more than just a place to stay—it is a home and a community that nurtures and supports them beyond the moment of birth. Our mission is to ensure that no mother feels alone, offering housing, food, parenting support, and programs that help them build a stable and independent future.

After welcoming their children, our moms receive continued guidance in education, employment, and financial stability, helping them take steps toward self-sufficiency. And even after they move on from our homes, we remain a lifelong support system, ensuring they always have someone to turn to.

We invite you to pray for Donoovin, Jacob, Lyric’sis, and their mothers as they embark on this beautiful journey of life together.
