Mia Rose was born on Monday, June 27 at 1:55 a.m. and her mom, Genesis, said, “She is so gorgeous.  You should see her, she is so pretty.  I am in love with her.”

Your support and prayers brought Mia Rose into the light of this day.

While Mia Rose marks one thousand babies born to moms living at Good Counsel since the beginning of our mission, every single precious baby reflects the image and likeness of Our Heavenly Good God.

This hit me, not long ago that God’s awesomeness, reflected in the faces and lives of every single person, is like one small characteristic of Our Infinite Creator.  That’s why each one of us, Mia Rose included, is unique because God’s complete, infinite uniqueness cannot be captured in any one of us except Jesus who is God Himself.

Just think that every single star, and there are billions upon billions of them which we now know are lighting up the vast, extended universe, is as individual and more powerful than any machine we’ll ever be able to create here on earth.

Think of the flowers, which spring up each year, similarly beautiful and radiant, yet individual and unrepeatable: reflecting a small part of the vibrant life of our awesome God.

You, yes you… in your mind, heart, and will, reflect an even more incredible light than the stars in the sky or the beauty of the lilies of the field; you reflect the true image and likeness of our awesome God!

Mother Teresa of Calcutta would say of each small act of kindness you do, that it’s just a drop of water in the ocean, yet how important to that ocean is that drop.

Thank you. God bless you, for the more than one drop of kindness you have shown Mia Rose and all of the babies and moms at Good Counsel.  You reflect the light and beauty of our infinitely, awesome Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
