At Good Counsel we are so thankful for all donations. We are perpetually in need of everyday items and consumables like groceries, clothes, diapers, etc. But morale and keeping spirits high in the homes is important, too. New moms in general need a little refresh; some pretty things to lift spirits and help them transition from pregnancy to postpartum. The moms at Good Counsel are no different.

We are excited to share with you that Steve Madden, Co. has generously donated new bags, shawls, scarves, hats and gloves to all 4 of our Good Counsel locations. What a mood lifter it has been for our moms. Lynn and Sandra, two members of our Good Counsel team, delivered the new SWAG to the ladies last week. They said the joy overflowed in the room. Moms had a ball looking through the selection of purses and clothing. The ladies even put on a mini fashion show for each other before deciding on their pieces.

In addition to the lovey upgrade for the moms, a long-time donor from Illinois sent handmade bunting coats (pictured below) for each of the the babies to keep them warm in the cold winter months. Good Counsel has amazingly talented and self-giving supporters. I promise you our moms enjoy the gifts, but they can also truly feel the love. So thank you to all who have shared of their time talent and treasure.
