They’re back home and thanks to you, with prayers and financial support, Good Counsel’s Daystar program is back to normal.

It was a rough transition to be relocated on Valentine’s Day due to frozen pipes in the Harrison, New York home, but many Good Counsel staff and volunteers made the necessary move peaceful and manageable.

“Everyone made the best of a difficult situation,” said Sandra Jones, Good Counsel’s Vice President of Programs. “We made sure all of the needs of each mother and child were accounted for, and I can’t thank enough the caring spirit of all who came forward to assist.”

Not long after the mothers and children, along with staff, returned to their home, a new addition came into our Good Counsel family: Olivia was born on February 27 at 6 pounds, 1 ounce and measuring 18.75 inches long. The happy event marked a wonderful homecoming for all!
