Life is celebrated every day at Good Counsel, but the last week or so has really been cause for celebration as it seems there has been a baby boom!

Babies 1045, 1046, 1047, and 1048 all decided to arrive within days of each other and all at different homes.  Good Counsel is blessed to support these mothers as they carried their precious children and will continue to love and support these special women as they return back home to bond and learn to care for their tiny bundle of joy.

Mount Vernon welcomed pretty little girl Daneah on February 25th.  She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.  Daneah and her mom, Shanique, are doing very well at home now.  Also arriving on February 25, but at the Spring Valley home, was baby girl Clair, weighing in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces.  Isn’t she beautiful?  Just to keep the staff at Spring Valley on their toes, baby boy Fletcher made his appearance the next day on February 26, weighing a healthy 8 pounds, 10 ounces.  Rounding out the baby boom in the Bronx, Ms. Benavyyia gave birth to baby girl Assata on February 27 at 7:00 a.m.  Assata weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces.  She and her mom returned home on March 1st and are doing well.

Please keep all four of these new babies and their mothers in your prayers as they get to know each other and move toward a new life of hope and happiness.
