Welcome to Good Counsel’s 31st year of serving the least among us, homeless, pregnant mothers, and children.  March 10, 2016, marked the end of our 30th Year on the calendar, but the celebrating continues because life is always a reason for celebration!

There was much good news in 2015, from 38 lives saved, to the re-opening of the Staten Island Home, to the countless hours of counseling and Life Skills classes that we provided to our mothers – all of which could not have been accomplished if not for you.

As we close the door on our #GC30 theme, we replace our “Pearl of Great Price” logo with a new logo that continues to express the very heart of our mission.  Good Counsel’s mission has been from the beginning – to love both mother and baby – not just with a roof over their heads but with an all-encompassing love and understanding that allows our precious moms to take the next best step toward a new life of stability and independence for them and their baby.  In the last 30 years, Good Counsel has provided over 630,000 nights of shelter and in this 31st year, we are quickly approaching our 1,000 birth!  Where there is love, there is hope!

Thank you for making our 30th year so very special – we can hardly wait to see what year 31 will bring!
