Please say hello to Tesla! This beauty was born on October 28, 2018.  She weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.  She and her mom are back at their Good Counsel home and are doing great bonding and getting to know one another.  It's been very busy with babies around here the last few weeks!  Be sure to subscribe to our emails so you don't miss out on any breaking baby news!

Tesla and all babies born into the Good Counsel family have been saved because of your faithful, prayerful support, and financial generosity.  Because of you, we never say no to any homeless, pregnant mother in need.  Because of you, there's always room for one more!

Our moms accomplish a lot while at Good Counsel.  While living at a Good Counsel home, house managers, case managers, staff, and volunteers all play a part in supporting and encouraging our moms to set goals and achieve them.  Moms participate in an array of Life Skills Classes with the goal of being ready for a new life outside of Good Counsel with a stable job and independence for themselves and their children.  With all that our moms have to do, childcare is an essential part of the mission of Good Counsel.  Knowing that their baby is in loving hands makes working toward and achieving their goals much easier.
