Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Who ever saw a dead man come back to life?

Those who were with Jesus when he raised Lazarus did. Those who saw Jesus stop the funeral cortege of the widowed mother’s son did. Those who saw the little girl arise did.  But have you?  I have not.

Yet, I do believe.

I believe on faith, but my faith is also underscored by the sight of the troubled, depressed, rejected pregnant mom who comes into Good Counsel one day, gives birth another day, and finds a new life in Christ a third day.

How does it happen that a woman rejected by family and friends, her own mother, the father of her child, nowhere to turn, then gives birth to a little boy and is overcome with joy?  Such joy leads her to want to find a new way in life. To change what she thought was the way of the world. To make a better place for herself and others, and to have her son baptized in Jesus Christ!

This is a resurrection of new life which we see at Good Counsel. You hear and can see in many videos and life changing stories you’ll find on our website, Facebook page, Twitter, and Instagram.

This is a resurrection which God allows you to join now.

And on the last day, may you Rise into New and Everlasting Life with Our Lord.
