In honor of mothers everywhere, Good Counsel celebrates Mother's Day with some beautiful reflections from a mother in our Riverside, New Jersey home.  Daveeda, who came to Good Counsel with her older children, fleeing an abusive relationship, arrived in a poor mental and emotional state.  Once the door was opened to her, she found love, encouragement, warmth, and the support and resources necessary to take the next best step for herself and her family.

Daveeda is grateful to be “living proof” of the mission and ministry of Good Counsel.  We are so very proud of her accomplishments as well as grateful to our friends and donors for making what we do possible.
